遊騎兵隊秋信守前2局發動攻勢，幫肋球隊攻下致勝的4分，終場遊騎兵4比2擊敗皇家隊，最近3連勝。

遊騎兵近來只要第1局得分，幾乎就會贏球，1局上秋信守率先敲出安打，接下來Prince Fielder、Mitch Moreland、Joey Gallo連敲安打，加上Elvis Andrus擊出高飛犧牲打，攻得2分，首局就得分，遊騎兵已經9連勝。

秋信守2局上敲出二壘打，打回2分，遊騎兵取得4比0領先，秋信守此戰敲出2支安打，這2支安打都發揮了功用。

遊騎兵隊先發投手Wandy Rodríguez投7局被擊出6支安打失1分，表現精采，贏得勝投（3勝2敗），Shawn Tolleson雖被皇家隊Salvador Pérez轟出陽春彈（本季第7轟）失分，但還是救援成功（第7次救援成功）。

皇家隊Yordano Ventura先發只投3局失4分，吞敗投（3勝5敗），同時皇家隊近11戰輸了9場。
